Central Library has created Book Bank facility exclusively for SC/ST Students. Under this facility the students can borrow these books from the library for home reading. Only upto 4 books can be issued to the students for the whole semester and taken back after the end of the semester.

Rules for Book Banks Facilities:

1. For availing this facility the student has to deposit Rs.1000/- (Refundable) as caution money.
2. Book bank facility has been mainly available for scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribe students on First-cum-First Serve basis.
3. Depending upon the availability of the sets of books the priority will be given to the students whose parent's income is lower.
4. All students who are availing the facility must ensure returning the entire set of books provided to them within two days of completion of their end of the Semester. If a student fails to return the book on time, he has to pay fine for each book as per rule.
5. If any student availing the facility loses the book / damages the book / disfigures the book, he / she shall replace the Volume(s) with same edition of the book along with Rs. 20/- processing fee (or pay the 10 times the cost of the book in the present conversion rate along with Rs.20/- extra as processing fee from the member towards book recovery cost).
